Fabric Engineering Solution

Hands On Real-Life Project

This project is designed to simulate the type of Fabric solution I would build within a real enterprise environment. I am challenged to think, design, and deliver like a professional Fabric Data Engineer - from strategy through to implementation

Primary Goals

By the end of this project, you will:

  • Understand how all engineering components of Microsoft Fabric interact as part of a coherent, end-to-end data platform

  • Develop the ability to move from business outcomes and client requirements, through solution architecture design, and into the build and delivery phase

  • Experience a realistic project lifecycle, including iteration, validation, refinement, and presentation

Secondary Benefits

  • Portfolio Development (Optional): each Sprint represents a standalone sub-project. You will finish with 8–10 high-quality portfolio pieces, each demonstrating advanced problem-solving and real-world engineering capability. You’ll receive guidance on how to present your work — both to the community and to potential employers

  • Content Creation (Optional): If building your personal brand is a goal (which a number of you have told me: it is!), you can use your work in this project as the basis for blogs, video content, or LinkedIn posts. Sharing your journey can help grow your network and demonstrate applied expertise to potential employers
